Nurse on the Go!

Our Nurse on the Go! service comes to your home, where your pets are most comfortable, to provide simple services. See below for a full list of available services. To schedule send a text to (479) 435-4606 or email us at contactkimmobile@gmail.com.

1. Nail Trims and Gland Expression: Our nurses will come to your home and provide simply grooming services, such as nail trims and even anal gland expression.

   • If your pet requires medication prior to regular veterinary visits, we ask that you give the recommended dosing of these meds before any visits that may result in fear, stress, and/or anxiety from your pet. Nail trims are some of the most stressful activities for a pet, so it’s especially important to give any prescribed anti-anxiety medications for these visits.

2. Blood draws: If your pet needs routine lab work have our nurses out to do a quick blood draw. Lab work is only available for current clients and must be approved by the veterinarian on staff prior.

3. Dog Walking/Exercise Management: Our nurses can help your dog lose weight with walking and other exercise modalities. They can discuss nutrition with you at home, and exercise your dog when you don’t have the time or inclination to do so.

4. In-home Medication Administration: For the owner of that hard-to-give-meds-to dog or cat, our nurses are here when you need them. They will come to your home and can medicate your pet. They can also show you techniques and help you learn to do it yourself!

5. Blood Pressure Recheck: If your pet takes medications for a blood pressure issue, it is important to periodically check their blood pressure. Too low blood pressure can cause fainting, lethargy, and depression in your pet. Too high and the kidneys can be affected, as well as vision and other body systems.

6. IV or SQ Fluid Administration: Some pets benefit from fluid administration whether due to age or chronic illness. It is often difficult to get these pets to a veterinary office. Our nurses can come to your home and help provide the care they need.

7. Medication Delivery: Forget to order that medication refill again? Reach out to us and see if it’s something we carry in stock and can have a nurse swing by your home to drop off enough to get your pet through until the refill arrives.
